I've represented the 2nd Ward on the Ithaca Common Council since 2012. The 2nd ward covers Ithaca's Northside, Southside, Washington Park, Henry St. John, Titus Flats, and Downtown neighborhoods. On Common Council, I chair the Planning and Economic Development committee and serve as the City’s Alternate Acting Mayor. I’m also the Common Council liaison to the Greater Ithaca Activities Center and the Downtown Ithaca Alliance. I've twice received "Best Common Council member" in the Ithaca Times Best of Ithaca awards, and I've served on numerous city committees and working groups. I’m passionate about improving our infrastructure, growing our housing supply, promoting walkability, and building positive relations between police and city residents.
