A seasoned data warehousing professional, Susan has proven her expertise in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of analytic platforms. Her healthcare experience began as a registered nurse working at Primary Children’s Medical Center, Garfield Memorial Hospital, and the Southwest Utah Health Department. Susan’s love for analytics led her to return to school where she completed degrees in mathematics and bioinformatics and discovered her passion for database design and architecture.Susan returned to Intermountain Healthcare as an Information Specialist and later joined the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) as a data architect and engineer. As part of the EDW team, she supported Clinical Programs, regulatory reporting, and corporate analytics. Later joining Intermountain's Homer Warner Center, she led the technical design and deployment of the Analytic Health Repository.After several successful years with Intermountain, Susan joined Health Catalyst as a technical director leading the technical implementation of the Health Catalyst analytics platform at multiple client sites. Susan is now working at Providence St. Joseph Health as part of the Clinical Analytics team. Susan holds an MS in biomedical informatics and a BS in mathematics from the University of Utah and is an honors graduate of the Weber State University nursing program.
