Hi there!I'm a Game Development Veteran from Howest Digital Arts and Entertainment. Born and raised in Belgium, my native language is Dutch. Throughout the years of high school (and too many hours on the internet) I have become fluent in English as well.Currently, I'm working as a Frontend Developer at Edu-Tech - a small company with a couple of friends from high school. We are creating CloudClass, a brand-new Learning Management System aimed at providing Belgian schools with the necessary tools for the modern-day educational system.During my education at DAE I have fostered a fascination for video game graphics, ray tracing, pretty pixels, and game engines. During my time off work, I like to play around with Vulkan, ray tracing, and sometimes even explore other programming languages such as Rust.I had the pleasure of doing my end-of-studies internship at DAE's Research branch. It is a small team who are looking into the technologies of the future, with a main focus on games. This research is fed back into the DAE curriculum to provide the students with the most up-to-date knowledge of the technology in the industry. My main tasks there were to look into DirectX 12 and DirectX Raytracing - focused on how to set it up and how adaptive sampling could work in real-time.You can read a small write-up on this adaptive sampling on my website: https://seppedekeyser.be/projects/directx-raytracing
Listed skills include C++, Opengl, Unity, C#, and 5 others.
