I am a writer, editor, and community builder. Pairing my editorial expertise with my diverse background in creative startups, I bring innovative solutions to writers, editors, and others in the publishing industry. From operating a successful book editing business and running a writing collective to serving on the Editorial Freelancers Association’s Board of Governors and founding a literary magazine, I am driven and passionate about my involvement in this industry. Read on for the ways I fulfill mine and others’ expectations in my various editorial roles.Writer:Writing under my birth name, September Woods Garland, I am pursuing traditional publication. My flash fiction has been published in Roi Fainéant Press, Crow & Cross Keys, The Sprawl Mag, and elsewhere. As for nonfiction, much of my experience lies in the wellness industry including mindfulness, hypnosis, and plant-based lifestyle.
