With over 27 years of experience in the publishing industry, he has led and transformed several educational and editorial businesses in Brazil. As the Diretor Geral at Santillana Educación, he oversaw the operations, strategy, and innovation of one of the largest educational publishers in the country, with a portfolio of over 10,000 titles and a presence in more than 22,000 schools. He also spearheaded the digital transformation of the company, launching and expanding its ebooks and online publishing platforms, reaching millions of students and teachers. Prior to that, he was the Diretor Editorial at Abril Educação, where he managed the editorial production and quality of two of the most prestigious and respected publishers in Brazil, Ática and Scipione, covering all levels of education from preschool to higher education. He has a master's degree in physics from the Universidade de São Paulo, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. He is passionate about creating and delivering high-quality, engaging, and accessible educational content for diverse audiences, and is always looking for new ways to leverage technology, data, and creativity to enhance the learning experience.
