My role as a Resource Navigator at Philosopher’s Stone Community Outreach (PSCO) is to serve as a vital link between individuals and families in need and the various resources and services available to them. I play a pivotal role in assisting clients in accessing essential support systems, navigating social services, and empowering them to address their specific needs and challenges. As a Resource Navigator, I am responsible for conducting thorough needs assessments, developing personalized service plans, and providing ongoing support and guidance to clients throughout their journey. I also manage client cases from initial intake through to resolution, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols. Additionally, I recognize and respond to crisis situations promptly and effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies when necessary. My commitment to cultural competence ensures that I approach each interaction with sensitivity and respect for the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients.
