Drove the development of the Consumer Finance portfolio with special focus on expansion of the group’s digital foot print via Mobile application and Bill payment platform Designed and oversaw the engineering of a Mobile application allowing customers to access the Group’s Cash loan and Hire purchase facilities with their smart phone. The app allows for customers to submit applications and check transaction history in its beta stage and will have a multitude of customer focus features geared to improving the customer experience at Unicomer and driving transactions.Managed overall project scope, requirements changes and vendor management. Worked with Business/Technology Owners to ensure deliverables achieve the business result that enable value creation, also ensured IT Risk and compliance due diligence are applied and effectively managed. Built and executed commercial strategy for “App rollout”. This involved creation of marketing strategy, operational roll out to all 47 Unicomer Trinidad branches and training 373 CSRs within the branch network.Lead, developed and engaged staff at varying professional levels from senior management to clerical.

CHAMPIONED VENDOR FINANCING PROGRAM FOR CARIBBEAN REGION: Spearheaded a strategic financing partnership program between third party retailers and Unicomer’s Hire Purchase facility across the Caribbean. Adding over 300 vendors since owning the portfolio and generating over US$3 million additional revenue each year. Led the consumer experience department and contact center in an effort to drive these transactions, resulting in an effective annualized increase of 28% and increased employee expertise. HEADED CONSUMER FINANCE BUSINESS FOR THE DUTCH CARIBBEAN: Successfully led the Consumer Finance Business, totaling over US$12 million in assets for the ABC islands (Curacao, St Martin and Aruba) Grew portfolios in these territories with annualized regional growth exceeding 40%, while reducing portfolio delinquency by 8%. Developed consumer score card for assessing customers and oversaw underwriting processes. Oversaw the implementation of the Unicomer Enterprise system (proprietary software) credit management module. Recruited and developed staff at all levels; including credit managers, collection agents/ callers, underwriting agents and bailiffs.
