[Contracted through Enterprise Solutions Inc.]I worked under the IoT Hardware - IP Cores: BT/FM/NFC/15.4 team, focusing on the BT and FM cores.- Tested and verified performance level of Bluetooth (BT) communication on pre-silicon chip, both from the software and hardware level side.- Learned Python from scratch, utilized in implementing an algorithm to parse header C files and perform advance match and replace string operations on C files in multiple directories. --> End product: compile-able C code matching firmware team’s definitions, used to test BT communication from software side.- Wrote functions in C code to debug BT communication from the software end.- Developed with team member Python script to automate and streamline process of power cycling hardware boards, loading FPGA bit files for BT and FM cores, and configuration files needed to setup test environment. --> Previously process was done 100% manually, would take about 7 - 10 minutes to complete per power cycling, process relied heavily on local PC configuration and different software versions.- Setup Qualcomm emulation platforms (R3PC), incorporating Xilinx Vortex FPGA chips. Platform connects to PHY board acting as modem for sending/receiving BT packets, or receiving FM packets, from over the air (OTA).- Re-purposed and maintained 20 - 25 emulation boards (R3PCs), worked closely with Qualcomm’s manufacturing and test facility, for span of 3 months. Came up with deterministic procedure to thoroughly verify proper board operations. --> End result: saved team $100K+ needed for multiple future projects.- Created and maintained Excel worksheet (on SharePoint) listing hardware resources to be shared/tracked by managers with team of 16+ engineers. Cut down on wasted time and guess work to locate functioning platforms.- Divided my time between three projects of different scopes, on a team of 4 members, while meeting deadlines on varying priority schedules.

Member of Technical Staff (MTS) - worked under Interactive Software Engineering (ISE) group.- Test engineer in Emirates airlines lab. Worked on eX2 and eX3 IFE platforms, managing interactive software on multiple racks with different In-Flight Entertainment System (IFE) hardware configurations, for Boeing 777, Airbus 380 & 319 aircraft.- Translated Interactive requirements by customer into test cases and verification procedures.- Built Interactive software daily using Jenkins, reviewed code changes put by developers, noted impacted features, loaded software components onto racks for testing and verification.- Used Synergy (IBM tool) and TeamForge tools to write up issues observed on interactive daily, assigned tickets to respective developers/System Test/Dev Test groups to further investigate and resolve.- Linux environment, working through command line terminal, running scripts, searching through system logs, copying files across network.- Performed MySQL queries to search/read data and debug issues related to media loaded and configuration files.- Trained 2 new technicians and acted as their focal on system requirements, software tools, and hardware equipment configuration needed for testing.- Created a How-To reference document to be used by fellow testers and managers on technical matters. - Took the lead on two sub-projects: 1) measured performance of games and media loading to wireless devices through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, 2) managed translating interactive UI from English only system to accommodate 15 other languages select-able by user.

- Setup shipment of 100 new computers to the labs over the summer, disposing/recycling old ones.- Maintained lab, hardware arrangement and usability in 6 main student labs, each with 30 – 35 computers, reported any damaged equipment.- Designed room layout on paper for each lab listing all computers / desks / printer / power and network outlets to keep track of resources for the department's future development plans.
