I have worked in the cord blood and tissue stem cell banking industry for nearly 10 years. In that time I have developed a strong passion for quality (CAPA) and process efficiency (Lean). However, I found that it is not just me being good at “figuring things out” and finding solutions, rather it is coaching and leveraging the people in my department that makes it successful.I left my last company to commit myself to learning more about leading people, projects, and organizations through an MBA program. Now that I have completed my MBA studies (pending graduation in June, 2018) and become a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), I am ready to use my training and experience as a leader to be a part of a medical device company which needs a quality minded professional to aid in providing quality products to clients and patients.On a personal note, I love animals, am a private pilot, ride a motorcycle, and am a general science geek. I grew up in a lot of different places in the U.S. and abroad as an Army brat. While I can’t say that I really have a home where I grew up, the constants in my life have been South Dakota as a child and Arizona as an adult.
