I develop a process guideline for Aftersales Activities.This concept should start with the product phaseout and ends with the delivery of theordered spare parts at the customers site. I have focus on developing aconcept which handles all Aftersales Activities in a customer satisfying and profitableway. This includes a detailed instruction of how to deal with tools and materials afterEOP to keep being deliverable. Due to the fact that some contracts with thecustomers are based on 50 years long readiness for delivery there is the importantneed to define how to deal with the affected resources. This also leads to defineeconomic efficient lot sizes as well as an appropriate stock and procurementmanagement. Target of this task is to structure all activities in a sequence whichapplies to all projects of APG. Before a project reaches the EOP it is alreadypredefined at which location the tools will be stored, where all process specificparameters as well as technical drawings and BOMs are consolidated. Furthermorethe spare part production process is clearly defined which will be launched in astandardized way after the call off. This procedure is studied anddeveloped by me in my bachelor thesis.
