•Overseeing and coordinating the entire supply chain process at a local level to ensure efficient & timely production and distribution of glass products. Coordination of bound divisions, managed a team of 4 supervisor, 25 white collar and 100 blue collar.•Develop and implement local supply chain strategies that align with the overall company objectives.•Manage end-to-end supply chain activities including, production planning, material planning, inbound and outbound inventory management, logistics and also management of satellite factories.•Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure that there are adequate supplies to meet production demands while minimizing excess stock. Implement inventory management systems and practices to maintain accurate inventory records.•Collaborate with production and technical managers to develop and maintain production schedules that meet customer demands. Ensure that indirect materials and resources are available to support production schedules.•Oversee logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement of materials and finished products. Manage warehousing and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery to customers.•Analyze supply chain and production data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement. Generate regular reports for senior management on supply chain performance and key metrics.•Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure contingency plans are in place to handle supply chain disruptions.•Lead and manage the local supply chain team, providing guidance, training, and performance management. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.•Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders (e.g., production, procurement, finance) to align supply chain activities with business goals. Address and resolve any supply chain-related issues that arise within the organization.

Material Planning:•Managing 200 suppliers and 1,500 different materials across 20 countries.•Managing SOP (Start of Production) & EOP (End of Production) materials.•Forecasting and managing annual and monthly material requirements in line with planning.•Creating and managing the material procurement plan based on customer orders, overseeing each stage of the process.•Establishing SAP MRP data for materials.•Determining material stock levels, conducting periodic checks for different material types, and reporting; postponing or expediting materials as needed and reporting accordingly.•Preparing inter-warehouse transfer plans based on external warehouse needs and ensuring they are tracked in line with procedures.•Coordinating with the Quality department for supplier performance management and visiting critical suppliers.Production Planning:•Managing the sequential planning of 50 different production lines in 3 different processes for 10,000 final products.•Collaborating with production engineers to determine line capacity, personnel, and efficiencies.•Forecasting and balancing annual and monthly production requirements accordingly.•Creating production plans while considering OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), conducting daily checks of production plans, identifying orders ahead or behind schedule, and ensuring process performance reporting.•Determining production quantities based on a hybrid plan of production for stock and production based on orders.•Managing the allocation of temporary personnel during annual leave periods and calculating production line needs accordingly.•Providing the necessary inputs for S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) meetings.
