With over 18 years of experience in public policy, research, and education, I am a Senior Economist at the Presidency of Strategy and Budget of Turkey, where I work on green jobs, just transition, youth and women, and labor market issues. I have a PhD in Demography and Population Studies from Hacettepe University and a MPA in Economic and Political Development from Columbia University.As a Senior Economist, I contribute to the design, implementation, and evaluation of policies and programs that aim to foster inclusive and resilient growth, reduce poverty and inequality, and enhance human capital and social protection. I also leverage my expertise in demography, education, and international relations to provide strategic advice and technical assistance to various stakeholders, including government agencies, international organizations, and civil society groups. My goal is to apply my analytical skills, knowledge, and experience to address the complex and interrelated challenges of sustainable development and social justice.
