SFIC Institute (SFICI), a subsidiary of the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC), was formed as a training and development initiative for the furniture industry in 2004.SFICI partners with various governmental agencies such as the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA), SPRING Singapore and NTUC’s e2i for funding support and to ensure that the Institute offers valuable, relevant programmes and initiatives to clients.---Project Lead for Designer Initiative ProgrammesKey Roles:To provide human capital solutions for the furniture industry players including sourcing suitable candidates (designers) and matching them with the employers (manufacturers, contract manufacturers, design houses and supporting industry). To encourage and assisting companies to tap on the funding assistance scheme to defray their cost of hiring and also to groom in-house talents. o Talent Matchingo Liaising with government agencies for programme matter (KPI, grant application)o Managing members accounts and also sourcing for new contacts (cold calls, referrals)o Business to Business, Business to Agencies referrals o Partnering with external parties (schools, agencies) for projectso Planning financial year programmes while also managing its costing & margin o Representing the organization at trade exhibitions and eventso Selling WSQ Framework and training programme (design, retail, business, manufacturing, workshop, teambonding, seminars and etc) o Familiar with skillsconnect & funding management system Experienceso Sales o Talent Matchingo Project Managemento New Product Delivery & Developmento Client Account Managemento Budgeting
