Consulting Engineer for US Government FBO (Foreign Building Operation)- USA Istanbul Consulate Renovation Project in 1997-98 (3 palace building in Tarlabası –Istanbul :MV-LV power supply and distribution,HVAC,CCTV,Security and Telecom Systems).

Project Engineer - For a 5 Million Tons/year crude oil refinery;generally following National and International standards,involved in control &supervision of:• Control room and field instrumentation,• Telecomunication,Firealarm,Securitysystems,• Power distribution,Lighting,Emergency Lighting,UPS s ,Grounding, • Training of Technicians for electrical and instrumentation workshops, durıng construction and Start -Up&operation phases of refinery .Chief Engineer - For new refinery unit -Hydrocracker investment financed by IBRD, 200 m USD ,Construction Consortium Leader being JGC- Japan and licenced by UOP and involved in:• Handling contractual negotiation with contractor,subcontractor,vendor;• Prepare specs for woks &activities,follow up purchase &project schedules ,• Prepare letters,reports,certificates etc.• Supervise the installation ,precomissioning, comisioning and start up of unit and utility services following safety rules and regulations. During detailed dwg s preparation & purchasing phase, stayed in JGC Yokohama Liason office for about 14 months together with engineers from other disciplines.Lead Engineer - For new refinery unit -Isomerization investment financed by Tupras, 100 m USD ,Construction Consortium Leader being Sofresid-France, licenced by UOP - USA : Similar involvement and duties as above but in this project, responsibilities extended to Power distribution,lighting,grounding etc of electrical works as well as instrumentation.
