As a Company Commercial Lawyer I specialise in advising commercial partnerships, sole traders, shareholders and directors of limited companies and trustees of charitable organisations. My advice spans a number of areas including corporate formations and reconstructions, sales, mergers and acquisitions in addition to providing advice on areas such as shareholders’ agreements and terms of business. I qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive (FCILEx) in 2021 which I completed via self-study, having previously achieved a BA Honours degree in Business Studies and having moved into law in 2013. I am now awaiting my final results for dual qualification via the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE).Last summer I set up a monthly lunchtime walking group to aid staff mental health and encourage interaction across teams and took part in the Promoting Children in Plymouth knitting and reading scheme. In addition, I am a Devon Chamber Champion, striving to get businesses in the region the support they need and to encourage collaborations between different organisations. and a mentor at University of Plymouth, helping students gain insight into the legal arena and encouraging their career development. Outside of my day job, I enjoy getting out in the countryside or to the coast in our WV camper van.
