I have been working at Little Fish for 5 years, ascending from assistant teaching summer camps to senior staff instructor running workshops/camps/classes on my own through the studio. I've worked with schools around San Diego country such as Bell Middle, Monarch, Sweet Water Union High, and was previously hired as a guest arts instructor at San Deguito Union High School. I've been teaching my own digital painting course year round for the 4 years--tailoring the curriculum to the needs and skill levels of individual students. It's been such a lovely experience working with so many different young artists across the city, it's an absolute joy to be involved in their growth as individual artists and also to be able to offer them resources I didn't have or know about as a student.In 2018 I ran a workshop at the Festival of Books here in San Diego, and was honored to find out that my small workshop was rated the best event at the festival! And later in 2019 I was invited to speak at Eastlake High School's Girls Inspiring Real Leadership in STEM and had the privilege to connect with attending students by talking about my journey through my career.
