Experienced Communications and Marketing Specialist with a focus on strategic and intentional email communication, digital marketing, and brand partnership. Skilled in creating compelling email marketing campaigns to connect teachers and districts with EVERFI’s free educational resources. I am a results-driven professional who loves data analysis, with a track record of developing and executing strategic communication and marketing initiatives for national and regional partnerships. Responsible for developing the long- and short-term strategy and execution of email marketing campaigns aligned to KPIs, I am committed to delivering impactful communication that adds value to customers and drives business growth.

Currently working as a part-time bookseller and Book Club Coordinator at Tombolo Books, a local and independent bookstore located in sunny St. Pete, Florida. My role as Book Club Coordinator has me managing and supporting 9+ local book clubs which include book selection, hosting and running book club meetings and discussions, and communication and planning amongst book club hosts.

The Transformation Zone consists of turnaround schools in Pinellas County that may need more support as they strive to ensure that students are prepared and poised for 100 percent success during their education journey. As a literacy coach within the Transformation Zone, I support coaches and teachers in grades 3-8 on rigorous, standards-based literacy instruction targeted to increase learning gains and achievement in the lowest quartile. Some of my additional job responsibilities are outlined below, which fall outside of the traditional literacy coach job description.• Roll-out additional professional development curated to the needs of teachers and coaches in the zone, provided outside of school hours• Serve multiple positions at once; ex: Literacy coach for the zone AND stand-in literacy coach at schools without a full-time one• Provide & plan additional coaching meetings, support, and PD for all school-based literacy coaches in the zone, as well as district wide• Building teacher and coaches’ leadership capacity• Develop intervention plans, coaching schedules, testing schedules• Develop Data collection• Develop and create Performance matters tests for triweekly assessments• Data analysis zone-wide in reading and writing• Support literacy at multiple levels – elementary and middle (requires larger content knowledge and how the standards continue to build upon one another in the secondary setting) • Develop specific, targeted instructional small group instruction for L25 scholars (with teachers coaches, admin) • Develop specific, targeted instructional plans school-wide for L25 scholars (working with administrative teams) • Curtail and design targeted supported for each school• Create and develop ELA curriculum and supplemental resources and materials for grades 3-5, outside of what the district provides• Develop and maintain planning protocols• Collaboration with BSI• Develop Zone-wide Writing and Reading Progression expectations

I taught four preps of 8th grade English Language Arts. In addition, I teach the gifted elective, serving students in 6th-8th grade. I am also the Department Chair for ELA, serve as part of the Equity Team, tutor after school, and score the boys & girls volleyball games.

Taught two years (2013-14 and 2014-15) 4th Grade all subjects; large ESOL population. Tutored and also coached boys & girls track & field events for both school years.
