After completing my bachelor's degree in Communication, I worked as cultural and touristic communicator both on digital and traditional media. Among other things, I worked as a social media manager and web editor, and I coordinated the organization of educational and cultural events. I have worked both with private and public organizations, and I have also been involved in academic research projects.In 2012 I've decided to change my working path and I challenged myself by opening and managing my own bed and breakfast in the center of Italy, also curating its online communication and winning an award for the best Italian blog of small and medium accommodations. Right after I permanently moved to Denmark, in 2016, I got a child and I decided to focus primarily on my family for some time. In the meanwhile, I took a Danish proficiency certificate (Pd3.6 - Studieprøven) and I volunteered at a local organization.I have a Master's degree in Communication and Advertising, and in 2020 I took a Master's degree in Information Science and Cultural Communication at the University of Copenhagen, with a specialization in Information Architecture and User Studies. Thanks to this Master, I have discovered an interest in academic research, especially in subjects such as knowledge organization on digital and social media, information and data ethics, IR systems evaluation, and user studies. IR system evaluation is a central aspect of my work at DBC Digital, where I am also deepening the study of Python for data analysis.
