Reference person for the environmental management system, establishing policies, procedures, objectives and improvement plans, promoting harmonization between plants and ensuring compliance of the management system with ISO 14001, integrated with ISO 45001 and Seveso legislation (major accident hazards).I dealt with environmental legislative compliance, supporting the operative sites in environmental permitting, coordinating with the operational departments and interfacing with the Authorities.Also in charge as EHS internal lead auditor and EHS qualification lead, performing audit to suppliers throughout the supply chain (from raw materials to waste providers) and key person during Environmental Third Parties and Clients audits.

From 2010 to 2018 I worked with Saipem S.p.A., in the onshore and offshore business units, both in offices and in operative sites, in Italy and abroad, initially in charge of the environmental management and, since 2013, also of EHS aspects.I covered both Project EHS key role positions and Corporate EHS management system roles, with a continuous improvement in terms of assigned responsibilities and autonomy, gaining a deep knowledge of the international standards and of the applicable laws.As Project HSE Manager my main tasks and responsibilities consisted of the implementation of the EHS management system at the Project level (with international Clients) according to OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001. Main activities: EHS auditing (with role of Lead Auditor) and definition of corrective actions, subcontractors EHS qualification and management, legal compliance monitoring, EHS risks/ opportunities analysis and assessment, EHS and emergency Plans and Procedures, training and campaigns, incident investigation, data analytics and EHS performance reporting.Highly valuable was the experience in a fabrication site in Italy, with a key role in an important international project, with stringent Client EHS requirements and highly demanding request. Strong interface with Client and internal management with continuous meetings and monthly EHS Committee with dedicated presentations on the Project EHS performance.

In 2010 I started as Environmental Engineer in Saipem headquarter in Milan, at Corporate level.From May 2013 to September 2014 I was appointed as Environmental Coordinator in a permanent operative site in Sardinia, with an important growth in terms of responsibility.Main tasks: implementation of the environment management according to ISO 14001 standard, assessment of significant environmental aspects / impacts, environmental procedures, legal compliance, internal and supplier audit and qualification, deliver of training, hazardous substances and waste management, environmental performance reporting and improvement campaigns. I have managed the environmental aspects during projects in execution, with several missions abroad (UAE, Kuwait, Suriname, Qatar, etc). I worked for two months in the UAE, for a highly environmental impacting Project with stringent environmental requirements (Railway in Abu Dhabi - Shah Habshan Project.).
