Bio: In terms of strategic input, Serena is called upon by well known brands to inject broad creative content strategy as well as connecting marketing professionals to specific influencers. Not a stranger to content creation, Serena has spent nearly 20 years in copy creation (within the PR/Communications industry as well as a trained Copywriter). Having started out at majors like Penguin Publishing and the Financial Times, and having managed industry wide initiatives for national print media, her expertise took her to consulting for a whole host of multi-sector SME’s - all of whom were mighty entrepreneurs and brand makers. When it comes to pulling out a brand story - Serena has been sharing pointers and her work on #BrandVocabulary’s instagram platform, mainly followed by London Entrepreneurs. Serena is her own Publicist. Producing a reel of her very own visual/audio content is her goal, but also to collaborate with other influencers and artists within multiple industries. No clients…Collaborators! Mutual (monetary and) artistic benefit. Being multidisciplinary and leading an eclectic life is really all about embracing the entire gambit of content and media. Especially when music, rhythm, and movement is at the very heart of what drives her. With over 10 years of Communications and project management experience, she began in print publishing (Financial Times, Penguin, national press) and soon began consulting directly with artists to business owners to articulate their offering in a concise and powerful way. A brand is one of the most valuable assets of a business, and it needs to be carefully crafted to ensure it properly and authentically represents itself. Serena’s process starts with a consultation to extract information to create a write-up, script if you like. This puts some structure into the process of brand development which leads to defining brand strategy and the production of creative marketing content.

Beginning her Communications career over a decade ago whilst still at University, Serena cut her teeth in all things editorial, publicity and communications whilst working with the Financial Times, Penguin publishing, Guardian newspaper and other broadsheet publishers. Throughout her formal education (studying English Literature and Political Science) she dedicated every spare hour to writing for a variety of print platforms and after working-hours would scout for musical talent to produce live showcases and music videos. Recently qualifying as a Yoga Teacher (after 20 years of personal study and practice and a little under a year of formal education) has enhanced her ability to create alignment in the professional lives of clients. Serena strategises with clients so they are aligned to their core purpose in a core way. This has been her experience and her daily practice in all facets of her life.
