I drive strategic communications for Gas and Energy Marketing and Trading business in Shell. This includes thought leadership positioning, media opportunities, internal communications and risk management. I am also the lead for top gas conferences for Shell and supported communications for Shell and BG combination. The acquisition of BG has accelerated Shell's growth strategy in LNG and underpins the company's role as the largest independent producer and marketer of Liquefied Natural Gas.

I provide strategic communications counsel and support to the Integrated Gas business in Shell. This includes external communications such as thought leadership positioning, media opportunities, internal communications and risk management. I cover communications for both new business development and existing projects. Shell is the leading international oil company in integrated gas, which comprises liquefied natural gas (LNG) and gas- to-liquids (GTL). Our integrated gas business generated earnings of more than $10 billion in 2014 (about 45% of total group earnings).

As a Spokesperson, I conceptualize, develop and implement media strategies for the company in the Asia Pacific region. I am also responsible for the media outreach for events such as Singapore International Energy Week, Shell Eco-marathon and World Cities Summit. Being very effectively bilingual, I have produced and presented news stories and documentaries for both English and Chinese language television channels. In my over a decade experience in the media industry, I have conducted one to one interviews with Singapore Prime Minister, government ministers, chief executive officers and celebrities.
