Recently studied A levels in Biology, Physical Education and English Literature and aspiring to study Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Portsmouth in September 2025. Present day, I am taking a gap year to gain work experiences in my current job and potential work experience and life experiences such as volunteering, travelling etc. Alongside academic linked skills such as innovative thinking and consistent dedication, I have had previous work experience in hospitality and retail sectors as well as voluntary work for Sense. Outside of studying, I am working towards my gold Duke of Edinburgh award in which I have worked closely with unfamiliar coordinates to work towards two self-sustainable, week long expeditions where I learnt vital life skills. I have strong and calculated passions and visions for my future, especially to become a neurological physiotherapist once completing my degree. During University, I will be completing an Industrial year in which I aim to gain further work experience and work closely to neurologist and others passionate about exploring and understanding the human mind, specifically linked with sport performers and the cognitive sides to sports rather than solely the physical elements. Formally, I was a sprinter for a local harriers club for my district but now I play for team sports such as Netball and Rugby, even to go as far as participating in a televised national 7s tournament at Roslyn Park. The more time I have spent playing sports and even more so the time I spent studying Physical education and the neuroscience aspects in Biology, it catalysed this interest and my passion for my future endeavours.
