• Prepared the presses (Adast Dominant 526P) to print by installing and adjusting the printing plate, pressure, inking, loading the paper, and regulating the press to the proper dimensions of the paper.• Controlled and checked the paper and ink required specs, adjusted the margins and the flow of ink to the inking rollers as needed.• Sent the material through the press cylinders, regulated the feed and tension settings as necessary.• Made appropriate alteration when issues with ink distribution, speed, and temperatures in the drying chamber occurred.• Fixed problems as quickly as possible to avoid excessive downtime.• Performed preventive maintenance.• Lubricated and cleaned the presses and performed minor repairs needed.
