I am the experienced Master Mariner with extensive knowledge and practical experience of vessel handling, DP operations, voyage planning and personnel management. I have a proven track record of leading crew in the successful delivery of offshore projects including well stimulation, survey, supply and ROV operations.A collaborative Master, I lead by example to motivate and inspire personnel to work to the best of their abilities, and to maintain that dedication and professionalism throughout the duration of a project. My knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements informs my work, ensuring that tasks are completed only when all paperwork and permits are in place, and in accordance with industry standards.During my most recent role, I successfully navigated a PSV vessel through a high-risk area to expedite a dry-dock refit in order to pass 5-year Class/Flag inspections and certificates renewal, achieving a cost saving of $200,000 through the use of crew for maintenance tasks. I also led a challenging project to prepare a PSV vessel for ROV operations during the hull inspection of a 400m FLNG installation. I succeeded in completing the project 1-week ahead of schedule with a cost saving of $400,000.I have a strong focus on safety, adopting a risk-based approach to marine safety legislation and operations, and I have experience training crews in safety and firefighting aboard ship.
