Worked in Prof. Sergei Urazhdin's lab, contributing to innovative research in experimental and theoretical physics:✅ Developed a memristor prototype by demonstrating the formation of a frustrated spin system in thin ferromagnet-antiferromagnet bilayers, exhibiting viscous magnetic dynamics of the Imry-Ma-Malozemoff type.✅ Explored high-temperature superconductors as doped Mott insulators using the Hubbard and two-dimensional Heisenberg models.✅ Investigated ferromagnetism in transition metals through the Hubbard-Kanamori model, with a focus on geometric frustration and its influence on orbital liquid state formation.✅ Led a comprehensive study of ultrathin normal metal-ferromagnet systems, fabricating over 200 samples via UHV magnetron sputtering and conducting measurements using techniques such as anomalous Hall effect, magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE), and vibrating sample magnetometry. Also analyzed data from Brillouin light scattering (BLS), X-ray Magnetic Circular Dichroism (XMCD), and SQUID magnetometry to identify significant orbital moment signatures.✅ Advanced the understanding of magnetic vortices and the Berezinskii–Kosterlitz–Thouless (BKT) transition by studying multilayer iron and gadolinium systems near the compensation point.✅ Designed multiple experimental setups, including a MOKE microscope with x, y, and z electromagnets, involving CST simulations and CAD modeling for manufacturing. Also developed over a dozen LabVIEW programs to control scientific instruments.
