    Woburn, Massachusetts, Us
At 100XBIO we strive to deliver 100x more data on antigen specificity of the T cells in the limited sample volume (blood, tumor, lymph nodes), and as the downstream -- confirming the cells' phenotype and cytokine expression. All automated.Looking for (1) early investments, (2) R&D partners, and (3) early academia, biotech and pharma clients. We are raising $500K of pre-seed investment, and raised over $200K.***I have over 15 years of experience in building, expanding, and managing immunology labs. I self-led my Ph.D. and raised the scientific output of my institute to the next level, leaving after myself a well-equipped cell culture lab and mouse research facility. Selection of suitable equipment, suitable research methods, method development, and method optimization -- were always a pleasure to me.I have huge experience establishing scientific collaborations including international -- keeping in mind the best interest of both partnering parties in the long run. Teaching my colleagues and learning from them is an essential part of my job. Do they work in my lab, or overseas -- doesn't matter, we are all in the process of educating ourselves. I'm always thankful if you tell me where I'm wrong. My current task is to test the beautiful scientific and business hypotheses leading to better immuno-oncology tools, vaccines, & more. To execute this mission I need to get the company funded and the first projects started. I had a lot of failed scientific projects before and I have a strong feel for what's reliable. Step by step our technology starts working, and I sincerely hope it makes a global impact.

Greenlight Biosciences, Inc. May 2021 - Jul 2023
    Medford, Ma, Us
Project and process management, executionβ€’ I led the project on the effects of transfected and lipid nanoparticles (LNP)-formulated mRNA in primary human immune cells/cell lines. I performed/managed 75 independent in vitro experiments, with the results guiding decision-making for product development. Methods: ELISA, IncuCyte, ELISpot, LEGENDplex and FACS.β€’ For two preclinical programs, I performed 10+ T-cell response analysis experiments to provide the efficacy results for immunogenicity studies. Co-authored Animal Study Reports and a research paper with academic collaborators. Methods: intracellular cytokine staining, flow cytometry, double-color ELISpot, ELISpot.Team capabilities development, leadershipβ€’ Mentored 2 Research Associates running 5 techniques. Trained them in experiment planning and data analysis, which resulted in their ability to run experiments from plan to the electronic lab notebook record. Both were promoted within a year due to exceptional performance.β€’ Set up/optimized flow cytometry SOPs (14 colors), organized Luminex training, and helped set up the immunology laboratory (10 workspaces). Co-developed hypothesis-driven research plans for cross-functional teams. Gave multiple presentations to collaborating teams and higher management.
  • University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine
    Postdoctoral Fellow, Cancer Immunology
University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine Aug 2017 - Jan 2021
    Pa, Us
Independent scientific workβ€’ Studied immunological differences between primary tumors and metastases to optimize cancer therapy. Automated quantification of immunohistochemical scans (>250), ran RNAseq gene expression data analysis.β€’ Explored conditioning methods and complex FACS panels for dendritic cell-based cancer vaccines: improved viability & efficiency of cross-presentation and activation of CD8 T cells; MOA discovery studies.β€’ Researched mtDNA's role in radiation therapy of tumors to discover new targets for immuno-oncology. Developed five mtDNA-free cell lines by rapid mtDNA-free cell cloning (fluorescent staining of <100 cells). Teamwork, lab operations, technical/scientific writingβ€’ Supported teamwork in syngeneic mouse tumor models: tissue processing, immune cells FACS, ELISPOT. β€’ Responsible for lab orders and R&D product selection. Supervised learning of new methods by students.β€’ Executed data collection and analysis; presented and discussed the findings that resulted in 3 conference abstracts and three published papers (1 first-authored), two under review/in preparation (1 first-authored).
