I am an experienced senior biomedical scientist specializing in diverse research areas within medicine, applied physiology, and nutrition. My current research focuses on assessing the efficacy and safety of innovative mitochondria-related nutraceuticals, such as guanidinoacetic acid, creatine salts, nucleotides, and molecular hydrogen. These studies are directed towards addressing compromised bioenergetics in both health and disease contexts. I'm recognized globally as a top Energy Metabolism expert (Expertscape top 0.27%), and Creatine expert (Expertscape top 0.0047%).I possess ten patents and patent applications in the field of energy metabolism, spanning the US, UK, EU, and Japan. Over the course of my career, I have authored and co-authored more than 300 peer-reviewed research and review articles, which have appeared in esteemed journals including The Lancet, Nature, BMJ, Trends in Endocrinology and Metabolism, Trends in Food Sciences and Technology, Advances in Nutrition, Mayo Clinic Proceedings, Pharmacological Research, Clinical Nutrition, Nutrients, European Journal of Nutrition, among others.
