I'm a test and measurement expert with 30 years experience in Telecom technologies and services testing, its quality measurements. I’ve been involved in testing methodology preparation for national and international services including QoS and KPI definition. I was responsible for the test and measurement support for new successful deployed in TEO LT AB (part of Telia-Sonera) technologies – FTTx/GPON, DVB-T, Wi-Fi, ADSL2+, SHDSL, IPTV, 10M-40G Ethernet, DWDM, ROADM, NG SDH, TDMoIP, VoIP. My key skills are:• Ability to foresee possible problems before they arise and take necessary counter-actions• Analytical thinking allowing to approach problem solving systematically by breaking down a problem and solving each part individually• Ability to study new technologies by myself and later train my colleagues providing courses/workshops• Definition of technical requirements for the new services, devices and systems by having direct communication with the developers. I can evaluate, test and rank technical capabilities of various implementations• Preparation of system deployment and integration methods and instructions for, training technical personnel in working with the new systems• My knowledge and experience allow me to envisage future technology development
