With the recent developments of the automotive industry, more focus on new trends such as electrification and autonomous driving has led to new challenges for roof systems. Within this role I continously support the evolutionary development of roof systems. The main task consists of technology scouting for new technologies and partners for the integration in the roof area and revolutionary open innovation. Tasks:- Trend scouting for global, automotive and roof systems trends- Technology scouting for the evolution of roof system development and revolution with new technologies and partners- Market research to investigate the preferences and requirements of our customers and end users- Assess which technologies and products could be interesting for our customers and delegate further research for evolutionary ideas and technologies- Verify revolutionary and disruptive concepts and technologies through proof of concept development- Support with creating technology road maps based on research- Support on setting strategies and creating sales slides for projects/topics- Provide business cases for new developments in close cooperation with the Innovation Manager- Provide support to the sales department for marketing the technological innovations through visualizations and renderings of technologies and concepts- Organization and maintainment of high quality presentations from the showroom throughout the year, both digital and physical - Support regional technology shows- Continously support with filming, photography, rendering for best technical presentations of our work

Operating in a critical location in the vehicle with high mechanical and performance specifications; i.e. safety,acoustical, optical, high speeds and wind load.
