Designed and developed OpenVMS part of Omnitel Online Initiative project. It contained high performance data preload program to load billing system tables into memory and change detection system based on GEMBASE triggers – to track billing system data changes. Billing system server (stand-alone web-service application). Main function: integrate various company software with billing system that is developed with GEMBASE 4GL. Server receives queries from external clients and distribute them among servant processes. Replaced old fashioned file-oriented billing system interface. Server works in business critical 24/7 mode. Servers work in OpenVMS cluster environment. High frequency oscilloscope software. Designed architecture of multithreaded application for PC based oscilloscope. This work was started in 1998 as research project. The first version of this system was implemented with Delphi 1.0, now I moved it to Delphi 6. I have implemented new working mode, when signals are extracted not from the still image, but on the fly when the thread of captured images is continuously processed and user can see live signal on the screen and even perform marker measurements and automatic parameter measurements. I developed robust signal extraction technique based on approximation of pixel value distribution on the transversal section of the signal trace with Gauss like function. This technique let us significantly improve extracted signal quality and measurement precision. Also new system calibration algorithm was designed and implemented. Calibration data was used to compensate not only optical but also time and voltage domain distortions.Delphi 6, multithreading. Main functions: uploading/downloading of menus file to/from ECRs, restaurant customers orders registration, order content routing to kitchen printers and orders closing via automatic sale registration on ECRs. Recipes database (with recursive recipes), enable the import of sales data from ECRs, raw materials expenditure and prime costs of production calculation. Sales data collection software for Casio CE/TK (upgraded withSuperBoard card) ECRs – specifically an ECR management programthat maintained a database of a retail outlet’s ECRs and their PLUcontents (name, price, VAT, group, department and other relevantinformation).

Driving theory test program, with an accompanying questionnaire ofabout 500 tests. Designed specialized language for complex graphical objects description and geometrical operations. A supermarket accounting system, for the Biznio Centras company ofVilnius, to integrate PCs and ECRs, using CA-Clipper. My task was tospecify and implement software to manage ECR network, but I wasalso responsible for investigating the ECR market in Lithuania in orderto determine the optimum ECR model to meet customer requirements.

For the Spectrum Lithuania company I translated LanSmart networking system documentation into Lithuanian. I also used WordStar to create PC Owner’s and MS-DOS Commands manuals for Spectrum Lithuania customers.As a contractor for the Zondas organisation I developed software toinvestigate transition processes in a mathematical model of p-n-pstructures using system of PDE.I was part of a team of three developing image processing and analysis software. It involved inputting images from camera using frame grabber, pre-processing the images, extracting objects from the captured images and evaluating object geometrical parameters.
