With methods like ‘agile architecture’ and ingroove’ we prevent the pitfalls of rational-technical methods and embrace the complexity inherent in our joint mission. Jazzinbusiness was an action research project and a workshop experience with a live jazzband that helped people in organizations to experience the inner workings of jazz improvisation and to apply those to problems in collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation. The learnings of jazzinbusiness live on in my research and in embodied making, the agile design method that we use to create our products in Product-Foundry.

v-work strategy was a management consulting firm that provided strategy consulting services to large organizations that wanted to work more collaboratively by changing their workplaces, their work processes and their information technology.

The Proof of Value Network was an action research project to explore how a value network of expert practitioners could join together to help organizations create strategic capabilities for the 21st century. Participants in the project were Verna Allee, Debra Amidon, Margaret Logan, Paola de Piccoli, Oliver Schwabe and Karl-Erik Sveiby.

I helped e-office to develop and implement a new strategic positioning that helped them move to become the leading Dutch portal specialist on Microsoft and IBM technology. In 2005, e-office was elected the most innovative IT company in The Netherlands by the leading industry newspaper. before leading strategy, I was responsible for e-office's Lotus Notes team.

I worked with infolook, a joint venture with e-office, focused on knowledge management and external information integration. I managed projects for the implementation of advanced content management systems for clients together with e-office, and I was responsible for developing a new internetservice in partnership with Autonomy Software.

I was a consultant and project manager with Bestdata Software, reponsible for the delivery of AS/400 based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) projects in SME's in The Netherlands.

I was consultant and project manager at Amersfoort Zoo. I helped develop the business plan and attract financing for a 3,5 mln. EUR investment in a new theme area in the park (De Stad der Oudheid). As a result of this project, Amersfoort Zoo raised their visitor numbers from the 500.000 range to the 700.000 range.
