Responsible for the software development and R&D operations of three Italy based teams for Brio (broadcast video server), Cube (computer graphics authoring and playout) and SportsFactory (live logging and highlights creation)Some recent projects are:- participated in the development and specification of a Linux based, K8s orchestrated ingest solution, with NMOS spec adapted to a variety of IP transports and formats for the connection management;- developed a PTP clock on Windows in accordance with IEEE 1588-2008, using h/w timestamps. Developed test benches to validate software clocks precision.- implemented IP media streams, with and without hardware assistance, as per SMPTE 2110 specification (video, audio, ancillary data, transmitter and receiver side) from early stages of the specification development. As SMPTE member, participated in interoperability tests to validate implementations of the standard.
