Hi, I'm Sergen Çağlayan. I'm an inquisitive industrial designer who loves learning. Learning new skills feels like having more toys to play with to me. I'm a total generalist. I do research, sketch, prototype, 3D model, visualization, digital illustrations, make posters and GIFs for presentations. I've got a great passion for design from the first time I met. Design is very loaded word. Like Steve Jobs says; "The design is not just what it looks like and feels like. The design is how it works". I think design is "whole experience" no matter what product it is, not about "what does it do?". It's about "how does it do?", how is the feeling, how is the usage, how is the whole experience?I've been shortlisted by ProCarton Young Designers Award in 2020 with my sustainable paper packaging “EaselBag”, and featured by Yanko Design with “TEO”, “NFP”, “mimo.” and "mazi" projects.I've established an industrial design studio with my colleague called Nest Studio in the past months. . We've been featured by Yanko Design, Pentawards, Dieline and Packaging of the World, as well as numerous pages in various social media platforms. We've also been curated by Behance editors as well.
