Following my graduation from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc in Economics, I am thrilled to have joined POLYHOSE (UK) Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of POLYHOSE India Pvt Ltd.POLYHOSE is recognised as a world-class manufacturer of Thermoplastic, PTFE, Rubber Hydraulic, Industrial, Composite, Stainless Steel Flexible hoses and Fluid Connectors. Their products are used in all kinds of fluid transfer applications, including hydraulic systems in manufacturing, construction, agriculture, automotive, marine, rescue equipment and industrial applications such as water jetting, sewer cleaning, high pressure blasting and painting and fire suppression systems, as well as LPG and high-pressure industrial gas transfer.I am looking forward to contributing to such an innovative and dynamic organisation and applying the knowledge and skills I developed during my studies and work experience.During my placement year, I had the opportunity to work at McDonald’s, where I honed my ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, collaborate with diverse teams, and deliver excellent customer service. I’m incredibly grateful for the lessons learned there, as they’ve shaped my approach to project management, professionalism and problem-solving.As part of my new role, I am pursuing my CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification to deepen my expertise in procurement and supply chain management. I am excited about combining the real-world experience I will gain at Polyhose UK with my studies, helping me grow professionally and personally while delivering greater value to the organisation.A huge thank you to the Polyhose UK management team for their incredible support to date.
