• Assist in the preparation of the Annual and Quarterly Statements – Specifically the financial statements (e.g. balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statements). Review all Supplemental filings (i.e. IEE, Audited Financial Report, NY Supplement, NY FTZ, Risk Based Capital). • Prepare and assist in the controls of the general ledger to Annual/Quarterly Statements for specific exhibits (Underwriting Pages 6-11), Sch D, Sch F, Sch E, and Sch P, Sch T, etc.)• Review and reconcile Statutory Annual/Quarterly Statement cross checks, and prepare all electronic filings with the NAIC.• Research NAIC guidelines regarding Notes to Financial Statements and coordinate with other departments to insure compliance.• Prepare consolidated GAAP to STAT roll forward for Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts including analysis of SSAP pronouncements. • Oversee maintenance and analysis of general ledger (e.g. Premiums Receivable, Commission Payable, Service Fees, Write offs, Deferred & Advanced Premiums, Other Liabilities, Other Assets).• Assist Manager in the day to day operations of the company. • Review and/or Input journal all entries into the General Ledger for the respective company. • Prepare GAAP & Statutory general ledger Balance Sheet account variance and flux analysis.

Reconcile and prepare quarterly and annual statutory investment schedules (D, DA, E) in the yellow book for assigned companies.Receive investment transaction advices and confirm accuracy to Bloomberg description and bank statement. Enter investment purchases, sales and other transactions into CAMRA and establish Security Master File for new purchases.Reconcile all Investment Asset & Income accounts for each assigned portfolio.Prepare monthly GL interface text file, journal entries and excel reconciliation worksheets for assigned companies.Prepare Investment Bank Reconciliations for assigned companies.Prepare a Daily Cash Flow Report and monitor bank balances periodically during the day.Prepare quarterly Investment Committee Reports, quarterly Head of Region Asset Management Reports.Provide assistance to Vice President preparing Annual Investment Income Projection and Investment Expense Budget.Maintain investment files for assigned companies and review investment control checklist.Provide assistance to Cashier processing checks in Freedom AP, assist Senior Accountant as needed.Prepare notes to consolidated financial statements Receive invoices and prepare check requisitions for investment expenses Calculate year end accrued expenses for all companiesCalculate and allocate custody fee expenses
