• Provide leadership for all aspects of program to ensure highly competitive and successful level of training;• Serve as a role model to assist athletes in developing and displaying appropriate behavior and sportsmanship expected of athletic teams and individuals representing the Club and USA Fencing;• Serve as a subject matter expert for student athletes and their families;• Support and promote the concept of health, safety, and welfare of each student-athlete;• Assist with recruitment and retention of student-athletes, public relations, program promotions, and program administration;• Plan and manage season schedule for regional, national, and international tournaments;• Asses and manage travel budget;• Design and develop training programs for all levels of club members from beginners to the elite international level athletes;• Train and guide students to master comprehensive fencing techniques and competition strategies;• Run footwork and drills, implement physical conditioning programs; • Manage classes of up to 35 people; create a welcoming class environment;• Keep accurate daily attendance records and notes of private lessons;• Evaluate tournament videos to better understand strengths and weaknesses of each athlete;• Attend Regional, National, and International tournaments to support and strip coach student athletes; • Observe athletes during competitions and practices to determine the need for individual or team improvement;• Plan, Organize, and Implement fencing camps for different levels and age groups of students;• Participate in fundraising efforts;• Manage equipment and facilities;• Attend and participate in coaches meetings and all related training;• Organize team bonding events.

As a Designated Coach for Senior, Junior, and Cadet World Cups overseeing US Team competing in World Cup circuit.
