After PFE organization was restructured and I became an SME for FlashSystem / Spectrum Virtualize, on top of L2 tasks I did the following:- contributed to Solution team, which handled cases requiring analysis of multiple solution components in order to be resolved (for example - AIX, Brocade SAN, SpecV storage);- interacted with development teams to improve product quality;- produced hot-fixes (ifix) featuring minor code changes to fix urgent issues (Git / Jenkins);- consulted techincal sales teams on SpecV product specifics and solution best practices;- mentored SME candidates;- for IBM SEED initative, developed certification test for SpecV SME candidates, which included exam and labs;- presented at techincal conferences:---- Asia-Pacific spring connect 2020---- EMEA Expert Group Exhange 2020---- EMEA Expert Group Exchange 2021I became RedBook author in 2018, and every year since, authored several RedBook publications (more than 15 in total).

Provided L2 technical support to IBM remote support engineers in EMEA countries, working with IBM N-Series filers (AKA NetApp FAS series): analyzed system's logs to resolve issues with hardware and software configuration, problems with block and file access protocols. Worked not only on storage hardware, but as well on software which integrated Ontap with host applicatons (NetApp SnapManager).While working in this team, participated in preparing customer-facing techincal documentation for IBM N-Series.I achieved second level of NetApp's professional certification - Certified Implementation Engineer - SAN, for 7-mode systems.

Mainly working with the following systems:- Entry and mid-range storage systems based on LSI/Engenio controllers - IBM DS3xxx, IBM DS4xxx, IBM DS5xxx (those systems are also known as Dell MD32xx, Sun STK 6xxx, NetApp E-Series);- SAN switches and directors from Brocade and McData.
