I am a skilled software engineer with 20 years of experience in the game industry. More than that, I started to program games 10 years before my professional career, back in the middle school.Over my career, I have had experience in nearly all aspects of game development: engine architecture, game architecture, game logic, mathematics, rendering, UI, visual effects, sounds, etc.As the lead developer of the RenderBear game engine, I transformed it from a simple Windows-only engine into a universal cross-platform framework with many tools and utilities. All games made by Aliasworlds Entertainment in the last 13 years are powered by this engine.I made four games as a lead (or sole) developer and contributed to more than ten other games. I developed specialized level editors for all games I have made.In my work I always try to make an architecture and code to be simple yet effective. That said, I prefer data driven solutions to hard-coded, and believe that flexibility may be achieved without loss of performance.I get accustomed to learn and use any tool and technology that can improve the product I am developing. I think that the time you spent on learning always pays off.
