● Successfully created automated configuration and deployment processes for OfficeDepot enterprise service bus. Created complex and secure communication flows between Hybris Cloud Services and OfficeDepot DMZ. Implemented VRRP based failover mechanisms which helped to avoid single point of failure.● Added L7 health checking mechanism for Java-based application backends which helped to improve uptime because unresponsive/slow backend could fill up all Apache workers which lead to a downtime and revenue decrease.● Created custom Ruby scripts and repository structure for internal Chef-based infrastructure management. Combined different chef repositories under flexible structure.● Tested and implemented auto scaling process for Java-based applications in Kubernetes cluster within Google Compute Engine which helped to initiate migration to Docker.● Combined Chef with Ansible. Solution is flexible and powerful because it is using best client-server based configuration management tool on the market at the moment: Chef. At the same time it uses Ansible for deployment which has great orchestration capabilities which are available out of the box.● Handled automatic VM creation within different cloud providers using Terraform or Chef Provisioning tools. Helped to increase redundancy of critical system components and ability to provide maintenance work without downtime.● Avoided any manual interaction with software configuration by describing all infrastructure with chef scripts. As a result infrastructure has gained high stability and minimised management overhead.● Managed bare-metal based infrastructure in Softlayer and tuned it for best performance for critical components like database layer. Helped to achieve incredible disk IO results by using RAID10 and write- back cache.

● Storing Cisco routers configuration in git under different tags and trigger its backup/restore process on demand in Jenkins. Allowed switching between different configuration versions for specific Cisco router automatically.● Improving existing nagios monitoring checks and designing additional ones for critical system parts which were unmonitored. Helped to find problematic system parts and fix them which increased performance and stability.● Introduced log aggregation solution: logstash to easy the process of log analysing.
