I am an Aeronautical Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC). I am very excited about the recent growth of the drone industry for which I decided to do a specialized Master in Applications and Technologies for Unmanned Aerial Systems.I am a creative, proactive, responsible and fast learner engineer with leadership skills and good communication. My interest in Drones and their entire industry arose when I did my Final Degree Project called “Low cost indoor navigation system for drones” with which was awarded with Honors and a Hemav Foundation Award for the Best Final Degree Project related to Drones in the 2019.For the last two years I have been designing systems for Venturi Unmanned Technologies, a startup that manufactures drones for the inspection of energy assets. The work I have done combines Simulation and Computer Vision technologies and is based on the open source PX4 autopilot. The systems are developed in C, C ++, and Python. The goals of these projects has been to increase safety in the key phases of the drone flights and to automate the task of inspecting the Power Lines and Oil & Gas pipelines. Also, for my Final Master's Thesis I developed the simulation of the Venturi VTOL (called "Realistic VTOL simulator"), to develop these systems in a simulated environment, with greater speed and a reduction in the cost of development.
