With a diverse background spanning computer and electrical engineering, biology, and chemistry, I've cultivated a multidisciplinary expertise through a variety of innovative projects. My experience includes designing and fabricating microelectrode array chips with PCB interface boards for neural activity measurement in 3D tissues (cerebral organoids). I've also prototyped microfluidic cell culture chips for 3D neural tissues using advanced 3D printing and molding techniques, successfully transitioning these designs for scalable injection molding manufacturing. My career trajectory showcases adaptability, having shifted from bioelectronics to developing chemical sensors for extreme environments.     -Developing a CO2 sensor using III-V semiconductors and metal-organic framework (MOF) thin films, for deployment in extreme carbon capture and sequestration conditions.-Synthesised MOF nanoparticles and verified their crystal structure and chemical composition using PXRD, Raman spectroscopy, and SEM for size characterization.-Developed a fabrication protocol to pattern MOF thin films on Si, SiO2, Au, and GaN with a spatial resolution ranging from 1-by-1 mm to 20-by-20μm.-Built an experimental setup for MOF-based CO2 sensor characterization, programming a Raspberry Pi to control mass flow controllers and interface with NDIR CO2 and humidity sensors using SPI and I2C protocols.-Characterized the output and transfer characteristics of InAlN/GaN high electron-mobility transistors (HEMT) exposed to high operating temperatures.-Organized research data into PowerPoint slides and delivered weekly presentations to lab members.-Trained lab members in safety, fabrication protocols, and tool operation for device fabrication.-Actively mentored two undergraduate students on summer projects focused on MOF-based CO2 sensing, providing instruction on sensing mechanisms, electrical characterization techniques, and embedded systems integration.
