I worked in the UNL Photonics and Phononics group. We worked with 2D materials such as Boron Nitride, Transition Metal Dichalcogenides, and Perovskites. I contributed to testing the mechanical properties of the perovskite Cesium lead bromide. This device is to be used in photonic devices to be able to control light. After the ten weeks of researching this material I was to present my work on a poster to my peers and faculty members.
