As a Research Scientist, My main goals are to work on Research of relevance for Caveon (Test Security, use of AI for item generation) and operational work needed on demand.

As part of my responsibilities:• Design, develop, and test prototype functions of College Board’s new IRT calibration system. • Validate differential item function (DIF) prototype code. • Develop EAP/TCC production scoring algorithms and validating production code integration. • Design and execute operational psychometric work including but not limited to equating, linking, scaling, item, and test analyses, DIF, and standard setting.

Research assistant in projects of Caveon. Mostly related to Automatic Item Generation (AIG) and the use of SmartItems, a technology developed by Caveon to create and deliver tests using Item Models / Templates.

Summer intern at the AI research labs in ETS. Working specifically in the Personalized learning and assessment lab.

Research on topics related to higher education and psychometrics. Participation in a research related to a local score used in the admission system called "Ranking de notas" it's a score calculated based on the ranking of a student relative to the grades of their peers in his school.
