My foundations in archaeological science started with a science degree from Texas State University. This was followed by years of hands-on research, research design, public speaking, publishing research, graduate work (PhD) at the University of Exeter, UK, where I developed a new model of lithic analysis. I am now currently incorporating new, innovative ways to bring experimental archaeology into the analytical process of interpreting prehistoric behaviors from chipped stone tool artifacts and assemblages.
