Practicum III: 6-week clinical affiliation in out-patient (aquatic and land), and in-patient orthopedic care. During this final affiliation, I was exposed to a variety of orthopedic conditions such as: spinal, hip, knee, and shoulder osteoarthritis/ general wear-and-tear, Total Shoulder Arthroplasties, Rotator Cuff Repairs, Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasties, spinal fusions, and joint revisions. Other experiences in aquatic therapy include: overall postural, proprioception, strength, and endurance training, passive, active, and active assistive range of motion, manual therapy, patient education on the potential benefits expected according to the properties of water, and maintain daily pool chemistry log sheets.In-patient care include: post-operative patient education, therapeutic exercise, bed mobility, transfers, and functional gait training using assistive devices such as canes, crutches, and rolling walkers.

- Inpatient Rehabilitation.- Acute care.- Responsible for leading 90-minute sessions for patients with various diagnoses such as: CVA, TBI, SCI, major multiple trauma, amputations, cardiac and pulmonary diseases, neurological and neuromuscular disorders, and brain tumors. - Responsible for new employee orientation and training.

Practicum II: 6-week clinical affiliation in out-patient care. As a student, I was exposed to a variety of diagnosis such as: post-operative follow up appointment for Total Hip and Knee Arthroplasties, ACL and meniscus repairs, Achille's repairs, Rotator Cuff repairs, and Frozen Shoulder. Also, treated patient with cervical, thoracic, and lumbar pain, osteoarthritis, postural malalignments, and general weakness and deconditioning in all ages ranging from teenagers, athletes, and geriatric population. Also, gained experience with soft tissue massage, joint mobilizations, and IASTM (Graston Technique).

Practicum I: 6-week clinical affiliation in acute care. As a student, I was exposed to a variety of diagnosis such as: Cardiovascular Accidents, Parkinson's Disease, Traumatic Brain Injuries, day 0 Total Knee and Hip Arthroplasties, Amputations, Dementia, general weakness and deconditioning, CABG, and Wound Care due to prolonged bed rest, diabetic injuries, and infections. Therapeutic exercises, bed mobility, transfers, and gait training using canes, crutches, and rolling walkers with/without platform attachment performed.

Initial 30-minute face to face, over-the-phone, or online consultation with potential clients. Lead hour-long appointments to development a personalized menu of exercises using ePete software.Appointments included teaching, demonstrating, observing, and correcting the client’s performance.Participation in a pilot study on the effectiveness of The Egoscue Method on spinal pain.Partially responsible for training new employees and student interns. Other office tasks: social media (Facebook, Instagram, Constant contact) marketing, client scheduling, processing payments, client outreach and follow ups via email and/or phone, and monthly equipment inventory upkeep.
