As an Installation Specialist I am in charge of the Single Family New Construction and Repair & Remodel segment of the DC/MD/VA market and focused on Quality of Installation, Cost of Installation, Capacity of the Installation, and Safety. Quality is measured through auditing job sites that are ongoing and complete. We also use this as a training tool to coach and train Install Companies, Sub-Contractors and Project Managers for the Builders on how to more effectively Install our products so they meet our Critical to Quality Requirements. By working with sub-contractors and Install Companies I have been able to create base line cost to install our products by segment, which is information that is sent back to the sales organization so they can target the proper customers. Building capacity ahead of sales is imperative due to the fact that the more trained capacity we have, the better the installations would go, giving the end user a better finished product. The end results in building relationships with the install companies/sub-contractors, training them, getting the cost information so I can appropriately place them into selected opportunities and grow our share of the market. In terms of safety, I educate the installation companies about specific dangers that go along with our specific products and informed them on how to mitigate the risk by using proper tools and practices in working with our products.

As a Pro Tile Rep, I was responsible for working with dealers in the area as well as distribution in order to grow the HardieBacker volume. My other responsibilities included training new hires and also helping to develop a new strategy for the Pro Tile Rep. I was able to grow the HardieBacker volume by over 200,000 sqft while in this role.
