Sergio Bustamante is the Vice President of Customer Support for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In this role, he is responsible for ensuring the safety and reliability of the world’s largest fleet of commercial jetliners – more than 15,000 Boeing airplanes. Based in Southern California, he oversees a global team of nearly 3,000 aerospace professionals across multiple disciplines that help more than 1,100 operators maintain their fleets throughout the airplanes’ lifecycle.Sergio most recently served as the Deputy Program Manager for the 737 Program. Prior to that, he served multiple roles in Customer Support: Director of Engineering and 737 Fleet Chief leading the 737 MAX ungrounding and return to service.
