• Main contact between our customers TME (Royal Oak Industries)/CATERPILLAR and CIFUNSA. • Create, follow up and assure that action plans are being performed to achieve quality improvement. • Quality Monitoring on parts supplied by the foundry on C7 and C9 Block (38,400 parts a year). • In order to generate cost savings, establish methods of monitoring costs/expenses of activities at the customer plants. • Provide technical support & guidance to assure product quality and conformance. • Coordinate all activities related with product sorting/reworking due to quality problems.

Responsibilities:• Follow-up on daily performance on the assigned parts (Detroit Diesel, Linamar Corporation and Emtol Manufacturing (total of 9 different parts, 4 machining plants at USA and Canada).• Launching for PPAP of 9 different parts: (4-cylinder heads for Detroit Diesel, 4 cover and housing for Linamar, 1 engine block for Detroit Diesel).• Follow-up meetings on customer plants.• Internal Auditor for QS-9000.• Making FMEA’s, Control Plans, Operation Instructions and Acceptance Charts.

Responsibilities:• Supervision of equipment installation: 13 conveyor belts, 2 sand mixers, hoppers, 6 vibrating conveyors, 2 hydraulic manipulators (equipment from Canada, USA, Germany, and Mexico).• Validation tests for all installed equipment.• Start-up of line production in time with a team of 16 people with training and people developing skills plans on safety, teamwork, and production.
