I am a highly motivated chemist and materials engineer. My background is focused on different fields such as Catalysis, Nanotechnology, Analytical and Organic Chemistry and Chemistry of Materials, with knowledge on the synthesis and characterization of polymeric and inorganic materials. I have several scientific publications in high-impact journals, one patent and three book chapters, with a broad amount of contributions to national and international conferences. I easily adapt myself to inspirational work environments, as demonstrated from my stages in different research groups. I have also participated in teaching at university level since 2011. I have experience in synthesis/fabrication, characterization and application of polymeric materials, inorganic nanoparticles, organic molecules, optical sensors, liquid and gas chromatography, analysis of real samples and spectroscopy (fluorescence, ultraviolet-visible, infrared, Raman and nuclear magnetic resonance), with a broad knowledge about using a multitude of instruments like spectro(photo)meters, LC and GC chromatographs or optical and scanning/transmission electron microscopes, among others. Among my goals, I include R&D project leadership and the management of a research group in the near future, related to hot topics such as CO2 valorization, green H2 generation and environmental remediation.
