While working as the gym manager I was responsible for facilities management, accounting not limited to monitoring spending and budgets, yearly audits that took place with federal entities and owners, financial performance risk analysis, payroll, recruiting of internal employees and independent contractors, re-stocking, social media management and scheduling equipment maintenance. Executive meetings twice per week with the owners to monitor sales and goals and agree on promotions and specials. Weekly staff meetings were held to monitor progress on goals and keep the team informed and dedicated towards their goals.

In this position, my team and I oversaw county services such as lighting, trash recollection, paving, painting and traffic signs and streets maintenance. I supervised over 90 people in their daily duties and I had to assign and monitor the progress of their different tasks as well as assigning rotes for the different departments. Results and expectations had to be met on a weekly and monthly basis.

Social media management as well as planning of content were essential. Precise data entry and proof reading were necessary for Accounting and Social Media content. Daily meetings with the major to determine social media content, platforms and publishing dates. Content creation for the county’s website. Ensure the Major’s participation in key events. Keeping up with a demanding schedule and due dates was imperative.
